And WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO SUMMER!

Now then. School's over, so the seemingly unending experience(and boatload of stress) that is finals, packing, moving, and unpacking has come and gone. Now that everyone's where they're gonna stay for summer(barring Joe, of course, who is EVERYWHERE this summer), I'm finally ready to sit my arse back down and get back to bloggin'(yeah yeah yeah, I know I don't do it enough. Shut up, Lena).

So... what's happened? Everything and anything, and all of it was right. Got through my classes(2.95 GPA... damn. No car insurance breaks. Next year...), got a HOUSE for next year(WE LOVE YOU ARVIN!), and got a job for the summer, at HP of all places. They treat interns WAY too well there. Nearly $20 an hour, my own cubicle, no major due dates, a laptop(crappy, but the thought's sure nice), and all that jazz. I still can't believe it. I'm working on a multimillion dollar server box right now, adding hard drives and LAN ports to the thing. It's really nothing short of awe-inspiring. And apparently, it's last year's model...

The House! THE HOUSE! HOLY CRAP! WE HAVE A HOUSE! It's way the heck out there on Madonna Road, past Best Buy. But it's got a bitchin' big driveway, along with a bitchin' big garage. Plenty of storage and whatnot. Me, Jew, Joe, Matt, and Bryan shall take residence there, for hopefully the remainder of our poly days...
And of course you're all welcome over anytime.

But the biggest story of the last few weeks is that beautiful Friday night of finals week, which goes WAY up there on my list of great college stories. Practically every PolyBemani person left on campus came with on a Great Hike to the P at midnight. This was the biggest PB event ever, as with our guests(not counting the drunks that came and went), we had about 25 people. Craziness. Once we got to the top, we started bellowing out whatever songs we could think of at the tops of our lungs. No rules, no homework to think about, just a wonderful evening of no-holds-barred fun. Eventually some cops came up the mountain, saying we were disturbing the peace... nobody had reported us, though; the cops could hear our singing INSIDE THE STATION. All the way down the hill. There's really nothing quite as cool as knowing that wherever you happened to be on Poly at that time, you could hear the chants of PolyBemani. Thanks to all my PB friends for making that the best end-of-year celebration I could think of, and I'll see you all in the fall!

HAVE A GREAT SUMMER, EVERYONE!
